Honourable PM, FM and Railway Minister, the concessions given to Senior Citizens and Women above 58 years and others towards their train journey was withdrawn in March 2020 in the pretext of prevailing Covid in the country. It is requested that the concessions to be restored in the current budget which will help the passengers.

The limit for investing in Alternate Investment Funds needs to be lowered to 5 or 10 Lakhs from the current limit of 1 Crore. Rationale: Currently the indian industry is going thru a massive transformation with new innovative startups becoming unicorns. But it is predominantly owned by Venture Capitalists from Abroad because most of the Indian Citizens are locked out due to the high limit. Reducing the limit will encourage a lot more Indians to invest in these startups at an earlier stage and keep ownership within our countly. Since the investment is done by Professionals running AIF, reasonable risk mitigation happens. Also this will help a lot of tech savvy invstors who are choosing other avenues like Bitcoins for better returns to contribute to the growth of Innovative Indian startups. Lower limit also allows for reduced risk even for HNIs encouraging them more. This will give a major boost to investment in startups in our country.

Respected Maam I would like a few things to be mentioned as policies and funds be alloted to them. 1.In case of the EWS reservations the annual income should be fixed that 2 lakh per annum for now and there should be a provision that for atleast all the central universities the higher education for students coming from the ews section whose annual income is less than 2lakh should be free. This is a very serious problem and there are students who qulify for the exams and are not able to pay the fess at the time of admission. The colleges say that they will refund the money when they pass the first year in college with decent marks bit the point being that people don't have the money to get into the college how can they get the money back then. Even in some colleges which have such provision it is a very lengthy process as if the authorities are not willing to help. Govt should have some freeship scheme for such students and should be a bit publicised and few seats can be kept.

Honorable Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Covid Pandemic and other such disasters taking place around the world are raising concerns about protecting environment and controlled use and conservation of natural resources. In the past and presently, several plans are being discussed but none is pursued with seriousness. I would like to draw your kind attention to two sectors in this context. 1. Renewable energy resources - Bio-gas -community based plants , to provide electricity, cooking gas, Fertiliser .It will generate employment locally for a few persons. One step towards local governance. 2.Organic farming - ensure health for people,, avoid use and import of fertiliserss I therefore reqequest substantial provision to implement these projects

In this ongoing pandemic times of COVID, and considering the hardships on common people, kindly consider to reduce GST on Health Insurance and Motor Insurance (to be put under lowest tax bracket i.e. 5%). And also bring Petrol and Diesel under the ambit of GST.
