I am running a small property management services company. I have observed that public is willing to pay GST if it is under 10%. At present it is 18% so people try to avade this and offer payment in cash. In this way merchant not only evade service tax but income tax also. Try to find reduce service tax charges. Also current limit of 40 lakh revenue for registration of service tax is too high. It should not be more then 20 lakh.

LRS (Liberalised Remittance Scheme) is focused on individual remittances. For service industry, 15 CA / 15 CB / A2 form and big bunch of documents to the banks is a mandatory requirement. Please ease out process of outward & inward remittances for service industry such that remittances can be faster, online, paperless until a specific limit of at least USD 25,000 per remittance. Please allow accredited Money changers to make current account remittances on behalf of MSME / service industry for at least smaller amounts upto USD 10,000. This will generate fair competition in banking as LRS is monopolised by private banks presently

GST compliances for businesses are just too many. GSTR 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and so on. Over and above a yearly return filing. This consumes lot of time & massive work hours, good computers etc. GST software should be such that only sales + GST as well as purchases + GST if uploaded rest computation should be automatic which will eliminate several compliances, deadlines and huge wastage of workhours
