As per the report, titled 'World Inequality Report 2022', authored by Lucas Chancel, co-director of the World Inequality Lab, India is now among the most unequal countries in the world. It states that the top 10 percent and top 1 percent hold respectively 57 percent and 22 percent of the total national income and the bottom 50 percent share has gone down to 13 percent. The percentages mentioned in this report may vary but the inequality situation is very alarming even though when we set aside this report. The budget has to address the current inequality situation.

Basic education plays an important role in moulding the future generation. As we refer back to Ancient India, our education systems were Gurukula based. There are already JNVs, Sainik schools etc., resembling the Gurukulas. Although, the importance for learning Sanskrit is not given in these schools. All the JNVs and Sainik schools should teach Sanskrit as Compulsory Subject. It will be better if Yoga and Vedas are taught to make the students better citizens. Take some action regarding this.

Bring some accountability and better management among the members of govt banks. When frauders default on their loans, it's the small depositors who have to face multiple money withdrawal issue. Then money of taxpayers is been infused into the banks to recapitalise govt banks. Tighten the regulation of overall lending and insolvency cases needs to be resolved in time bound manner.
