GST should be reduced or removed from medicines because these are basic necessity for survival.
To promote faster growth in rural areas GST relief should be provided on a variety of things like dwelling house,, electricity, water food education transportation etc

There is lot of discontent among tax payers. One way to pacify is to reduce IT: has its limits, fiscal obstacles. Other way is to make tax payers part of what is being done with their money.
To achieve this:
1 Each MP to identify one scheme in his constituency and pledge to complete in a year, budget the expenditure, make it public
2 Allow individuals to voluntary allocate the part of their tax outgo, within a prescribed limit(say 5-10%), towards the scheme of their choice
3 MPs to work with state govt, mlas, local representatives and to publicly report regular progress
4 MPs accountable and own both success and failure of the schemes, no blame game allowed towards officials/IAS etc.
For budgeting it would be just accounting and software application overhead.
Gain: Hundreds of successful projects across nation and more contented tax payers. Tax payers do understand failures and this class of people are minority to effect elections so no need for politicians to be worried!

Govt is focusing on poors & Rich are having their own ways to figure out their life....
only middle class is looking helpless, despite contributing larger chunk to taxes-- they feel suffocated in our economic development.

castor as a plant getting lot of attention in various industries like pharma, chemical due to its versatile nature.
it is environmental friendly, less water intensive, affordable production, farmer friendly.
castor value chain development should be focus of govt going forward.
