Respected Madam, We need to stop importing any oil to strengthen #Rupee (i) Prices of electric vehicles is higher than petrol & diesel, very clearly auto companies are earning more than they earn in petrol and diesel vehicles, this is concern in full adoption of electric vehicles. Give interest subvention to consumers buying electric vehicles on loan. Please give no incentive to companies for electric vehicles as it just goes to their profit. (ii) For solar panels (rooftop and industry), I think government officials should visit areas and companies and tell them to move to solar. Government should adopt interest subvention scheme for companies adding solar power through loans. Create new schemes so that farmers build solar on their land, earn regular income at low cost. (iii) We have to ensure all our resources oil, gas and coal are properly generated and utilised in India, monitor drilling of resources to capacity or ensure cancellation of leases with penalties. Madam, please arrange a RESTART of spinning mills under the National Textile Corporation. Almost 23 mills were not functional, leading to several thousand workers and staff being on the roads without any employment. This was shut at the time of COVID. We are far ahead of the situation now. GoI, under the Corporation, holds huge land, which can be leased out to needy functionaries (private or public) and gain funds for making these mills operational. Hope this budget will give some relief with measures on the restart of all these mills for the benefit of every worker and society at large.
