Some humble suggestions
Reduce the tax on capital gains, since people are investing to save tax and for secure future.Atleast reduce the tax if that was used for basic needs like education, medical treatment
For new tax regime also, give more options dir tax savings, like increase in home loan slab, kids education
Have one more slab after 24lakhs
Take strict actions against the lagging of roadwork since it is one of the basic needs of citizen.(around 1yr was taken for taring 1km road in my area. Entire road was destructed first with an excavator an people travelled through that road for a year)
For senior citizen , pls reduce the capital gain rate or it should atleast related to income
More strict measures on private hospital bills or make govt hospital as par with them
If we have a crisis similar to indigo, govt should be able to bring a strong competitor to them to eliminate monopoly
Reservation based on financial status
Measures to stop or control l9oting of temples

Retail equity options traders lost one lakh five thousand crore in fy 2024/2025. The growth in options compared to futures is due to STT only on premium. Before 2008 it used to be on strike price plus premium of a option contract.
Recently SEBI introduced DELTA based positions limits for options contracts. If a options has delta of 0.6 it should be taxed 0.6 times of equvalent futures STT. The froth in options market will be controlled by a great extent by this. As other ways to control options market is highly complex and will have many unintended consequences.
A contract of 0.99 delta is taxed at 200-300% more than a contract of 0.9 delta while difference between them is only 10%.
Taxing this way will have huge ramification on brokers, exchanges and other intermediaries.
What is suggested above is relinking of strike for stt in options with adding delta as a extra metric will have a formula of-
(Strike+premium)* lotsize * delta * 0.01/100

The Union Budget 2026–27 should focus on affordable education, quality healthcare, and employment generation for youth. Increased investment in skill development, competitive exam preparation support, and digital infrastructure will empower aspirants and strengthen human capital. Special attention to women empowerment, rural development, and transparent governance will ensure inclusive and sustainable growth for the nation.

Respected Finance Minister, the Union Budget 2026–27 should prioritize youth by expanding skill development programs, affordable education, and job-oriented training in emerging areas like technology and digital services. Support for startups and easier access to internships and employment opportunities will greatly help India’s future workforce.

*IT Exemption Limit of ₹25 lakh on Leave Encashment wef 01.01.2016*
CBDT vide Notification No.31/2023 dated 24.05.2023 enhanced the exemption limit on leave encashment at retirement under section 10(10AA)(ii) from ₹3 lakh to ₹25 lakh w.e.f. 01.04.2023. This revision is in line with the 7th Pay Commission effective from 01.01.2016. However, non-government employees who retired between 01.01.2016 and 31.03.2023 were granted exemption only up to ₹3 lakh and so paid excess tax. In 2025, ITAT upheld that the enhanced limit should apply from 01.01.2016 and directed tax refunds. Nevertheless, CBDT Circular No.11/2024 dated 01.10.2024 restricts condonation of delay under section 119(2)(b) to 5 AYs, rendering many genuine retirees time-barred. Since neither retirees nor CBDT were aware of it earlier, this causes undue hardship and unequal treatment. Hence, relaxation of norms or retrospective application from 01.01.2016 is urgently required to extend relief to all similarly placed retirees.

Shift capital from stock market to industrial expansion, creating jobs, lowering P/E ratios & making market ROI attractive. India’s high P/E ratios signal Paper Wealth driven by liquidity chasing too few value stocks. To hit $10 Tn, rebalance the Business-to-Capital Market (BCM) Ratio by moving money from screens to shop floors: (1) Launch Primary Market MFs: Incentivize MFs that invest in fresh equity (IPOs/ Rights Issues) and MSME debt. This funds new factories, not just stock trading. (2) Lower P/E via Earnings: Channeling capital to the factory floor boosts production and corporate earnings. This lowers P/E ratios, making India a Value Buy for FIIs & DIIs. (3) Direct SIPs to Jobs: Redirect 10% of SIP inflows into labor-intensive sectors (Textiles/ Electronics). This converts speculative savings into jobs. Let’s fund production, not just circulation.
