SAY GOOD BYE TO CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS In the olden days, farmers depended on fertilizers obtained from natural sources such as cow dung, cow urine, wood ash, neem cakes, treated dredged lime shells, compost of leaves and organic materials like food waste etc . They were rich sources of plant nutrients. Chemical poison Pesticides were not needed and the products were free of harmful elements and good for human health. The chemical fertilizers were later introduced to increase production manyfold to feed fast growing population. The use of chemical fertilizers can be minimised, if not totally stopped. The following points will help in this direction. (1) Effective and incentive driven population control measures aiming to bring down India's population to 1 billion mark. Initiate a truck dedicated to pickup all clean waste like sugar can debris from ganne walas, coconut debris from naryal walas, paper debris from printing walas, cloth debris from tailors and parde walas,, garment factories, sukha ghaas from mango walas, wooden waste from carpenters,etc. if possible also food packets from commercial kitchens and food courts. All the items not currently accepted by raddi walas yet easy to gather. Schedule of pickup can vary as per category and regular garbage truck can refuse these items. Drop the above collection directly to relevant recyclers and by that maximize recycled resources for new use. If waste is natural, crush it and drop it in the ocean or under sunlight for fast degrade!

In the world’s poorest countries, this will mean the difference between her and her family going to bed hungry or with a full stomach. With an estimated 805 million people in the world still undernourished, fertilizer can play an important role in the fight for food security.

Need to put up research to analyse components of traditionally used fertilisers like cow dungs etc. On getting the components and their characteristics useful to agriculture production a research to find alternative bio or zuo products of same characteristics or compromise with chemicals which may retain original harmless quality.

Nano Urea must be good but it is not the solution. Why don't we give incentive for having cows at home and have milk price common across the country so that we can increase cow dung usage at the farm.we see decrease in people having cows at home due freebies and MGNREGS
