*CARETAKER DORMITORIES & ASSISTANCE IN HOSPITALS* Honorable PM sir, I am a neurosurgeon in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. As a doctor working for past 20 years, i have felt a strong need for an assistance required for the caretakers of the patients admitted. An unhealthy person is admitted and provided care and medications. But a caretaker is ignored in the whole process while his role is utmost in bringing medications, to be available for 24hrs and always stay prepped. In the process of treating a patient, the caretaker turns sick and tired at the end. So, honorable Prime Minister, i urge to consider keeping two large dormitories in the basement of hospitals (Male & Female) connected via speaker or landline for at least one caretaker per patient, to be called when needed to whatever ward he/she is required, where rest of the time he can stay or rest.
