प्रधानमंत्रीजी, राष्ट्रहित में चुनाव का कार्यकाल विधानसभा और लोकसभा के लिए चार वर्ष का ही हो, साथ ही स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थाओ और विधान परिषद, राज्यसभा के सदस्य का कार्यकाल भी सिर्फ तीन वर्ष का हो ऐसा करने से ज़्यादा लोगों को तथा युवा वर्ग की राजनीति मे रुचि और राजनीति में आने का मौका मिलेगा। राजनीतिक पार्टियां सिर्फ 2/3 बार टिकट दे इस के बाद सदस्य चाहे तो निर्दलीय लड़ सदन मे आए, अमेरिका, कनाडा, इंग्लैंड, फ्रांस, जर्मनी जैसे प्रशस्त राष्ट्र के कार्यकाल चार वर्ष है,पिछले तीन वर्षो में हम ने देखा बिहार और महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति का स्तर यह लंबे कार्यकाल का नतीजा है।
