Hi Sir,
Road traffic rules awareness, and basics of driving
We have many casualties in road travel, and often this is linked to human behaviour which could have averted the accidents. The long hours in traffic, also cause negative restlessness in people during their day
Few suggestions, like I have heard city like Aizawl follows no honking/silent city
a) wrong side driving should be curbed. severe penalty
b) people turn from left-most side towards right or make u-turns.. There should be right only lanes/u-turn only lanes. anythiong outside turning should be penalised
c) people tend to turn right, much before they have reached the turning.. and come into wrong lanes.. turning should only be center of the turning road
d) lane following.. we have 5-6 lanes created during traffic, when there are only two lanes.. two-wheelers can be max 2 in a lane.. and not start encroaching across larger vehicles..
thanks

Hi Sir,
We aim to be a viksit Bharat in coming years, but our road conditions and drainage systems, are not going in that direction. We are building highways and infrastructure, but maintenance and quality is suspect, especially in urban areas. Encroachments of drainages and pot-holed road infrastructure is seen across urban areas, evident in waterlogging with small rainfall.
thanks

Respected Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji,
In today’s times, the young generation seems aimless, undisciplined and detached from civic and moral values. Anxiety, depression and even suicidal thoughts are alarmingly common among students. While our education system continues to focus on academics, emotional and character development are often neglected.
Teachers are the true architects of a nation’s future, yet their role today is largely limited to syllabus completion and exam results. A real Guru enlightens both internally and externally—shaping intellect, empathy and purpose.
I humbly request you to address the teachers of India in your upcoming Mann Ki Baat, inspiring them to rediscover their role as mentors, life guides and nation builders. Your words can rekindle the moral spirit and emotional strength our youth desperately need.
With sincere regards and hope,
Dr. Smati Sambyal PT

Hi Sir,
The RERA system in real estate need some directives, to be made more effective.
a) There is no enforcement of orders being done, as who is to enforce is not clear. Also can RERA orders be enforced ? There is gap in enforcing their orders
b) The land conveyance to flat owners in apartments is not being done. We will be in a situation, wherein for redevelopment, the builders will own land, and flat owners will be left landless. Builders are retaining lands, to often further use them as collaterals for next projects. Banks should not be allowed to give loans wherein ownership of land is with flat owners.
c) RERA should look to ensure, corpus money collected by builders is immediately transferred to owners association, on first sale deed sign. The corpus is retained by builders, and owners have to generate again
thanks

Respected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji,🇮🇳
In this year’s Mann Ki Baat, I humbly request you to highlight the importance of providing paid internships to college students during their learning journey through government platforms.
Such opportunities would inspire and encourage young minds to actively explore their fields, apply new concepts, and gain practical experience alongside their academic studies.
Paid internships not only motivate students but also offer necessary financial support, enabling them to focus on skill-building and innovation.
By promoting this initiative, the government can empower the youth, bridge the gap between education and employment, and foster a future-ready workforce for India’s growth.
Your encouragement on this front will inspire millions of students across the nation to pursue excellence with confidence and passion.Thank you for your continued guidance and vision for India’s progress.

Hi Sir,
There should be a revamp / overhaul of the legal system in India.
Our judiciary is very capable, but the system can be made more efficient.
Few suggestions:
a) Court vacations can be for national holidays/certain festivals. Across India Public/Private companies, follow this process. Officials can have vacation days of 20 days in a year, and be backfilled. Imagine entire hospitals, defence forces etc taking mass leave for 4-6 weeks.
b) LAwyers keep taking adjournments, and it keeps getting granted, while cases are at same stage. After 1 adjournment, second incident onwards there should be a fees of 2-3 lakhs for delay induced on lawyer. Subsequent adjournment should be double of previous.
c) Any ASK from court to submit affidavits etc in cases, delays should follow above process
d) Cases not listed in a specific time, the registrar should be penalised
thanks
