2. Contd..By institutionalizing ‘decentralized self-reliance’/‘decentralized atmanirbharta’ we maybe able to solve the million dollar problem of investment crunch. Designing the finanicial instrument to suit the risk appetite, financial literacy of grassroot individuals could be tricky. Common service centers will have an “Investment saathi” to explain the financial instrument.

1. The microfinance revolution democratized/grassrootized access to finance, why cant there be ‘microinvestment’ that ‘grassrootizes’ investment. SHG’s maybe be bound to desire to deploy their earnings, savings in a more efficient way. Can we create a financial instrument, that people can relate too and support? Like a “Decentralized stockmarket”. Facilitate them to invest in businesses in their own district and reap greater rewards from their savings

Namaste ! Postal schemes need to be available online, like we have it for banks to ensure more revenue for the postal department and the Central Government. As the stringent process of account opening or doing investments requires a lot of documentation, people avoid postal investments. Example: To activate a savings bank account with postal department, it takes weeks or even months after providing the right documents. Whereas with banks, to activate an account it happens in minutes.
