परम आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री महोदय, मैं आपसे कहना चाहता हूं कि आपने पिछले वर्ष जो अभियान चलाया था, "एक पेड़ मां के नाम" वो बहुत हद तक सफल रहा और देश के कोने कोने में बहुत से पेड़ लगाए गए। माननीय महोदय जैसा कि आप जानते हैं कि आज विश्व के कई देशों में उनके नागरिकों के लिए वृक्षारोपण करना अनिवार्य है। परंतु भारत में ऐसा नहीं है। मैं आपसे यह प्रस्ताव करना चाहता हूं कि आप देश के लिए ऐसे नीति नियम बनाए जो पर्यावरण के अनुकूल हो। जैसे देश में जब किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा नया घर बनवाया जाए तो उसके कागज बनवाने के लिए एक पेड़ लगाना उसके लिए अनिवार्य हो, या किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा अपने महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज जैसे Driving Licence आदि बनवाने के लिए एक पेड़ लगाना अनिवार्य हो, या जब चुनाव के समय किसी नेता या व्यक्ति द्वारा नामांकन भरा जाता है जैसे लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए, तो नामांकन भरने के लिए 10 पेड़ लगाना अनिवार्य होना चाहिए। ताकि देश का केवल विकास ही नहीं, सतत् विकास हो सके। इसके लिए उपयुक्त नाम “Plantation For Developed India” हो सकता है। आशा है कि आप मेरे द्वारा दिए गए इन सुझावों पर विचार करेंगे।
