Charge theft by companies is on the rise in telecom companies. The central government should monitor this.Beneficiaries suffer from the forced monthly recharge scheme. Telecom companies are insisting on monthly data recharge charges even for cell phones without internet connection. A separate voice pack is required.Compulsory monthly recharge plans should be restricted. The open position should come back that consumers can make voice calls as long as they have balance amount. Most of the senior citizens travel a lot with cell phones without internet connection and the monthly compulsory recharge system is a financial burden for them. Government should direct telecom companies to develop special voice call recharge schemes for senior citizens and mobile phone users without internet. Cell phone users without internet connection should be given the opportunity to talk until the balance is empty
