Need to lay emphasis on voluntary control on use of paper in a bid to save trees and environment. Holistic view needs to be taken. All ads etc should shift attention from paper ads to digital ads. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a great initiative that was started had become a mass movement but has died down and people have failed to understand to have a clean India everyone has to take individual steps. I would like to share two instances both showing how by just installing a thought in the minds of people affects their thought process. I did my schooling from a boarding school in the beautiful hills. The campus nestled in the beauty used to be littered and we students thought it was the job of the cleaners to clean the campus, and we used to drop litter wherever we felt. Our new principal who on taking charge was upset with this and in an assembly started a movement. He asked us to keep the waste either in our pockets or bags and put it in the dustbin when we come across one. The school was cleaner in no time and still stays clean.
