Dear PM, I join the cry of NO BALLOONS PLEASE, and request that you make our citizens aware during the next Mann ki baat that balloons are harmful to birds, animals both land and sea, also a choking hazard for infants. They also cause soil & water pollution, giving strong reasons to stop usage of balloons in celebrations year-round. You could announce this starting with upcoming Independence Day, so there need be no release of tricolour balloons. Our national pride can remain high while we refrain from practices that threaten our earth. Thank you.

BJP honours Kumari Uma Jinju for winning Guinness World Record in Yoga. BJP Olavanna Mandal President Mr. Rakesh presented a memento. Mandal Vice President Mr. Babish Kalathil, Mandal Secretary Vivek, Palazhi Area President Mr. Sanal Kumar, Vasudevan, Arun, Avinash and Vijith were present. *A 12-year-old girl has set a world record by performing the most difficult yoga posture effortlessly. Uma Jinju TK, a native of Iringallur, Ward 1, Olavanna Grama Panchayat, achieved this feat on International Yoga Day. Uma was able to complete one hour in Khandbherundasana with her entire body bent backwards and her chin touching the ground. Although the record could have been achieved in half an hour, Uma patiently continued in Khandabherundasana for an hour.

Namaste Pradhan Mantri Ji, I am Vijaya Kumar Moka from Visakhapatnam, an artist, and a proud Indian Railways employee. Inspired by your call to promote millets, I began creating paintings using actual millets as a tribute to farmers and our traditions. This journey started in 2023 “the International Year of Millets” which inspired me to explore this unique art form. My artworks depict Indian mythology, rural life, nature, wildlife, famous personalities, Jesus Christ and many, ranging from 6×8 inches to 5×5 feet. I have created over 350 millet paintings. Some of them are exhibited at a few events across India. I humbly submit my story for your kind consideration in Mann Ki Baat, with the hope that if you speak about this art form, it will bring national recognition. Your words will help preserve this art form and ensure that future generations come to know about this unique art form and our millet food culture. With respect and gratitude, Thank you.
