People like me served in Science & Technology for about 40 years and retired as Chief Scientist. During my service period I never dropped in paying the income tax regularly. Is it possible to exempt the tax from the pensioners like me. I had written this comment number of times but I did not get any suitable reply. If it is not possible to exempt from paying tax, then fix at least Rs.25000/ net every year from our annual pension income. I appreciate a reply Dr.Balagopalan Unni, Palakkad. Kerala

45 million ticketless travellers caught by Indian rail in last 4 years so if 2 conductors appointed on commission basis only like in buses in each coach of trains then not only huge lost revenue can be earned but employment will be generated as actual number of ticketless travellers 100 times more! Over 90% eligible Indians don't pay annual land & property taxes so if private collectors appointed and monthly spot collection system started on commission basis only then not only huge revenues!
