Addictions like smoking ,tobacco and drugs should be discouraged . Every doctor should make it a point to instruct their patients to avoid these addictions for a healthy life.

Need to change the way we celebrate or entertain ourselves. Let us not throw lavish parties in marriages, birthday parties or anniversaries instead do a ceremonial tree plantation, make a cleanliness drive in our locality, help children in orphanage or visit elderly people in old age homes.

Need to strictly disallow children carrying heavy bags on their back to school . This has resulted in backache and posture related problems in children as they grow.

Change can only happen with people's participation. Need to inculcate feeling of social responsibility. For example residents ,shopkeepers etc should be responsible for keeping their surroundings say within ten metres of their place clean and fine to be imposed who do not comply.

I'm Snehal Bochare resident of Aurangabad Maharashtra. this post is regarding illegal cutting of tree and there conservation. I really feel there is still need to make people aware about importance of slogan 'each one, plant one'. I myself have faced the pain of people ruthlessly cutting down a 10 yr old fruit bearing tree. Please read my story attached & help inspire and make people aware of Govt mission & be responsible for conserving our environment making earth a better place to live in.
