Tunnelling and allied activities can employ a large number of youth on what will be a generation long endeavour. These networks can be adapted for defence and bunker like add-on feature in a nuclear face-off. The excavated material can be a substitute for river sand. In summary, dispute free approach to flood control and interconnection of water bodies and development of new underground water bodies can be a long term solution for flood and seaward bound water saving and distribution.

The benefits of developing an underground network include developing water distribution of undisputed flood water connecting existing storage/water bodies, tapping seaward bound water, using large storage possibilities in Rajasthan and underground in the Deccan Trap. The development of tunnelling technology indigenously is absolutely necessary (BEML). While the topology needs detailed planning. Decision on the base depth of tunnel along the coast can be made quickly.

Saree weavers and buyers are not meeting each other properly.Like Surat here in Bhubaneswar Handloom Textile Park should be establish.Sambalpuri saree design research center can also be establish inside textile park.It will help to reach out of state and International buyers for business. Our farmers will also do Tusser agriculture. Here no such spinning mills for sambalpuri silk saree weaver are depending bangalore.

To continue... The enormous budgetary intent for river linking could be better used by developing floodwater diversion head works leading to a vast network of tunnels which ultimately link to a base tunnel system that hugs the coast line at a depth (say) 60 metres below sea level. This will form a backbone for moving water to enable water transfer to water bodies which can accept this surplus and tap into flows into the seas. The possibility of using Rajasthan's desert/dried beds as storage.

DEAR SIR, AS WE ARE HEARING ABOUT THE CHANGE IN MINIMUM GIRL'S MARRIAGE AGE IS A GOOD STEP BUT WE WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST THAT IT SHOULD BE MADE COMPULSORY TO EDUCATE GIRLS TILL THEY GET ANY PROFESSIONAL DEGREE AFTER COMPLETING THEIR SCHOOL EDUCATION IN ORDER TO SECURE THEIR FUTURE AND MAKE THEM INDEPENDENT.
