It was tried in my district with an intention to have some earning to railways but was become failure due to lease terms. the idea was to give it on lease of 3-5 years to have vegetable and seasonal fruits production. Please have it implemented nationwide.

'Impactful improvement in traffic flow in cities' can be achieved by significantly reducing private cars on roads thru a 3-monthly charged flow permit (flowmit) system. We MUST achieve at least 30 kmph speed at peak hour on major city roads (from present 10 kmph), and accordingly limit the number of flowmits.
Savings:
- 90 min in travel per day
- 70% of privately used fuel and pollution
- Associated forex
- Global warming
- Frustration and stress
Please see attached file for details.
