Namaste, my ideas are as follows :
•Large quantities of milk and water offered to the Shivling flow out and go to waste. So install a strainer net at the exit channel of the Shivling, leading into a clean collection container. The filtered holy liquid can be distributed as Prasad to devotees and animals, preventing wastage while fully respecting religious sentiments.
• Deploy dedicated dustbins for plastic waste and leftover eatables across the temple premises. Collected plastics can be sent for recycling and upcycling into useful items. Leftover food items can be diverted to composting units to create organic fertilizer.
•Strictly prohibit plastic bags for carrying Prasad and other purchases. Mandate the use of recyclable paper bags, ensuring they can be processed into new paper products later.
• Allow food stalls to use only Donas and Pattals (bowls and plates made of dried leaves)or clay/paper plates. Ensure all used leaf utensils are collected and moved directly to a composting.

Mahadev Mahashivratri will be celebrated on the mountain Temple which is surrounded by Forest. Since it is thickly forest area the animals may have a chance to near the kitchen preparing shops through smells like frying, cooking with oils preparations. Necessary protection will be made. The wastage remains will be kept at a long distance from function grounds and Temple areas.

During the Mahashivratri Mela, a large amount of waste is generated from food packaging, plastic bottles, flower offerings, and disposable materials. To address this issue, I propose a **Green Bhakti Reward System** that encourages devotees to actively participate in maintaining cleanliness and protecting the environment.
Under this system, devotees will receive a QR code at the entry point or through a mobile application. Whenever they deposit waste at designated collection centers, volunteers can scan the QR code and award reward points. These points can be redeemed for benefits such as free drinking water refills, eco-friendly souvenirs, cloth bags, seed balls, or other incentives provided by the organizers.
The collected waste should be segregated into different categories such as wet waste, flower waste, and recyclable waste. Wet waste and flower offerings can be converted into compost for temple gardens and local plantat
