As India embarks on the journey of breaking into the top 5 major economies of the world there is a need to realize the Prime Minister's goal of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas. One of the foundation pillars for realizing this dream is to upskill and reskill individuals to supplement income and increase livelihood prospects.

A typical family in the Rurban parts of the country is managed by the homemaker who is generally the female member. She spends a substantial part of her day settling a variety of household errands and working through her daily job. However, after all this, she does have a few hours to spare which if put to productive use, could augment the income of the household significantly.

We call in your suggestions and ideas which would help such homemakers explore alternative income sources in their spare time.

Firstly a data needs to collected from each and every ward about the people who wants to earn and a data from those has to be collected about the efficiency of work. It can be cooking, teaching, tailoring, crafts work, dancing. According to the skill we need to make certain groups and a special group of people who don't have any skill so that there skill can be enhanced. After all the data is collected. The govt can make different groups according to the skill sets and help them in mone funding.

When Foreign companies like Tupperware and Oriflame make use of the talents of homemakers to gain profit, we should Try to utilize their talent and develop. Tutoring, designing, tailoring, entrepreneurship, management etc 1) encourage sustainable development and related products to be made and marketed. 2) Establishing self help groups and working on the most required demand in their district/area. 3) they can be made to dig into their family's heritage/talent and develop those.
