Vegetable Gardens are a good idea for subsistence. farmers can also organize under a farmer producer company. There can also be a system like Kudumbashree of kerala, Self Help Groups of women who can indulge in traditional low cost input art/handicrafts and then it can be marketed online. Food and Agro processing are also viable options for homemakers and would add substantial value to the agriculture produce grown by their family or community. tiffin centres in urban areas.

The female sector should be encouraged to work from home, wherever possible, this way they will be able to fulfill their responsibilities as housewives and mothers as well. Further the harassment problem will also go down and they will also be spared the hardships of travelling to and from work. It will also take care of maternal leave issues, which most of have them are deprived, no matter what the government rules say.
