As India embarks on the journey of breaking into the top 5 major economies of the world there is a need to realize the Prime Minister's goal of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas. One of the foundation pillars for realizing this dream is to upskill and reskill individuals to supplement income and increase livelihood prospects.

A typical family in the Rurban parts of the country is managed by the homemaker who is generally the female member. She spends a substantial part of her day settling a variety of household errands and working through her daily job. However, after all this, she does have a few hours to spare which if put to productive use, could augment the income of the household significantly.

We call in your suggestions and ideas which would help such homemakers explore alternative income sources in their spare time.

Rurban homemakers can supplements their income by doing these part time work- 1. Can make pickle with traditional species and sell them online or in neighbor. 2. Can do organic farming on roof-top or in balcony and sell the small output of the vegetables in nearby houses. #MyGov

Basis skill fitment can be done on below basis 1) Data base entry work can be given to women and can be done from home. 2) Provide sewing skill , embroidery skill to women which make them independent. 3) Basic Digital knowledge to be provided to women so can do work for app industries like zomato, swiggy, amazon etc.

Sir/madam To make digitization more meaningful ladies training team {unemployed/ those willing to stay hometown itself) IT degree holders girls }, must be formed, there must be marketing person whose work is to identify the people who cannot operate android phones . These team has to provide continuos support to all in this regard. Online money transfer, QR code scanning, bill payment, etc. Take survey of non android mobile users (family). World survey says Indians go educated but not updated

Any marriage registration should be vivid and explanatory. Government will get information regarding financial condition of every new family. This information will help government to chalk out plan for supplementing income of home makers. Which area what skill development programme can be most suitable can be determined by marriage registration data. This is a new approach. Marriage registration record should be more informative. This is a vital suggestion for supplementing income of home maker

Sakhi Saheli Stores can be opened to provide reasonable cost products and marketing can be done through internet and social media. Also Shopping bags manufacturing can be start at home and replace the polythenes.

We can think a new dimension about supplementing income of home makers. At the time of registration of marriage the couple should disclose their source of income and amount of income. So that weather they need any financial support for their new family or not. If they need support we can get information about her skill or any asset which can be used as supporting source of income. Here advantage is at the beginning of a new family government is getting data from grass root and make new plan.
