Anything and everything which is purely controlled by Govt cannot take great shape. Why? Because govt babus don’t work if they don’t have additional benefits in form of bribes. Their apathy and red Tapism is killing all innovations India can get, this results in brain drain and the same Indians perform so well for other nations. Prime Minister sir, there are plenty of great minds with high integrity, they can be utilized along with incompetent babus to get the desired result.

Research and Innovation in the field ofScience and Technology is comparatively less on Indian universities. Hence New NEP should have a clear path to encourage R&D right from degree onwards.

For innovation policy my view is there has to be proper coordination between universities & industries or the concerned fields. We have brilliant professors, students but needs lots of practical touch and expertise from industry to make it a reality. Analyze no of PhDs given and usefulness to the country.I strongly believe if a PhD is highly useful.Govt should reward that university pvt or govt handsomely. This will lift the morale. This can carry more weight for universities & campus placements.
