The General Aids to Marine Navigation along the Indian Coast is administrated by Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships (DGLL) as per Lighthouse Act, 1927. Over the period of time maritime sector has undergone massive change. There have been enormous technological developments in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation. To incorporate the global best practices, technological developments and India's International obligations in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation, the Draft Aids to Navigation Bill 2020 is prepared to replace existing Lighthouse Act 1927.

The Draft Aids to Navigation Bill (to replace Lighthouse Act 1927) is hereby circulated for comments of all concerned.

there should be a nechanism to automatically block any message that is suspected to be against public harmony or interest.If you nip it in the bud, it will be good. When Computers can block, why is it allowed in ither means as it is giving way to rumor mongers for propagation. Secondly there should be a strong control over communication propagation without aby favor to any one, however he is influential

Respected Sir, Children are the future of our country.We should not exploit and torture them. We should take care of them. We should provide them nutritious foods, hygienic clothes, safety shelter, better education and medical facility, sports and entertainment facility with better environment for their better physical and mental growth.Govt should financially help the poor parents so that they will not allow their children to become labourers.Safety is important.

the navigation is linked to advanced technology & international border license. rescue & safety backup by nearby vessels & defense on distress call, tracking illegal immigrants, drugs & endangered species. biohazard wastes dumping understand seabed. support to undersea train, optical fiberglass cable, oil pipeline. resources & fossil fuel extraction, expedition to North & south Pole, tourism & fishing & pollution of sea with industrial waste. aadhaar linked to GPS tracking of human & animals.law

Currently, the Central government, as per the provisions of the Lighthouse Act, levies light dues on all the foreign going ships arriving at or departing from any port in India.
