The General Aids to Marine Navigation along the Indian Coast is administrated by Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships (DGLL) as per Lighthouse Act, 1927. Over the period of time maritime sector has undergone massive change. There have been enormous technological developments in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation. To incorporate the global best practices, technological developments and India's International obligations in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation, the Draft Aids to Navigation Bill 2020 is prepared to replace existing Lighthouse Act 1927.

The Draft Aids to Navigation Bill (to replace Lighthouse Act 1927) is hereby circulated for comments of all concerned.

मोदी सरकार नेSkill India program को ध्यान में रखते हुए सभी B.sc nursing और BAMS दोनों की पढ़ाई लिखाई बराबर मात्रा में होने के कारण B.sc nursing और BAMS दोनों को बराबर का दर्जा दिया जाना चाहिए ताकि युवाओं को अब अपने रोजगार तलाश सके इसके लिए योजना बनाई जानी चाहिए

हमारे प्रिये देश वासियों की सुरक्षा के लिए समुद्र तट पर नेवी आर्मी और देखभाल के लिए nevigation बिल बहुत जरूरी है

The scope of automation and implementation of AI to this aid to Navigation draft is highly required for the safety of fisherman, coastlines and vessels too. Incorporation of AI in terms of vessel identification, entry and exit of vessels will smooth the traffic movement as well as improve in accuracy in case of duty/levy payments and further avoid any sort of discrepancy.
