Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has undertaken an exercise for review and revision of the National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship 2015. This has been necessitated considering rapid transformation in technology, emerging market requirements, changing global scenario, and evolving skilling and entrepreneurship landscape.

A draft of the National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2025 has been prepared that aims to provide a comprehensive framework for all skilling and entrepreneurship activities being carried out in the country, and to align them with the national priorities. The aspirations underlining the draft national policy are: scale, quality and inclusion. For realization of these aspirations, key principles, thrusts and enablers have also been indicated. The draft national policy also seeks to establish clarity, coherence and convergence for skill development and entrepreneurship promotion efforts across the country. It also seeks to link skill development and entrepreneurship promotion to the improved employability and productivity outcomes.

To ensure that the revised National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2025 is aligned with current and emerging requirements, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov invites inputs/suggestions from general public as well as researchers, startups, civil society, and domain experts.

Your suggestions on the draft policy will help in shaping and sharpening the policy prescriptions along with the key deliverables.

I think skill power and business analytics skills should be teach in our colleges as the subject of our syllabus, that the way it is know for the people it should be respected because the world and our india can only changed by the good business and skilled workes and then we can transform to viksit bharat in 2050

1.Future-Ready Workforce: To equip the workforce with 21st-century skills, including digital, green, and soft skills, fostering adaptability and resilience. 2. Equity and Inclusion: To ensure equitable access to skill training across gender, geography, and socio-economic backgrounds, especially focusing on women, marginalized communities, and persons with disabilities. 3. Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: To create an enabling environment for entrepreneurship, including access to finance, mentorship, and incubation support. 4. Industry Integration: To deepen industry partnerships for demand-driven skilling, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training. 5. Quality and Standards: To enhance the quality of training infrastructure, curricula, certification, and assessment through a robust national framework. 6. Data and Governance: To establish a unified skill data ecosystem for better monitoring, policy-making, and impact measurement.

Some suggestions given by me for the Skill Development Policy. 1- First of all, we need to bring a change in the mindset of Indian society. Even today, there is a perception that if we are providing skill development training to children, we are preparing them for labor-class jobs. This mindset needs to be changed. 2- We need to take inspiration from our neighboring countries like China and Japan, where even in kindergarten, young children are taught skills like cooking, furniture making, and sewing. Similarly, we should also start teaching such skills to children from the kindergarten level itself. 3-

Skill programme that governments are providing are everything perfect but at ground level these are not perfect there is proper tracking system to observe that skill programmes that are executing is going proper or not.
