Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has undertaken an exercise for review and revision of the National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship 2015. This has been necessitated considering rapid transformation in technology, emerging market requirements, changing global scenario, and evolving skilling and entrepreneurship landscape.

A draft of the National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2025 has been prepared that aims to provide a comprehensive framework for all skilling and entrepreneurship activities being carried out in the country, and to align them with the national priorities. The aspirations underlining the draft national policy are: scale, quality and inclusion. For realization of these aspirations, key principles, thrusts and enablers have also been indicated. The draft national policy also seeks to establish clarity, coherence and convergence for skill development and entrepreneurship promotion efforts across the country. It also seeks to link skill development and entrepreneurship promotion to the improved employability and productivity outcomes.

To ensure that the revised National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2025 is aligned with current and emerging requirements, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov invites inputs/suggestions from general public as well as researchers, startups, civil society, and domain experts.

Your suggestions on the draft policy will help in shaping and sharpening the policy prescriptions along with the key deliverables.

As technology rapidly evolves, it’s critical that skilling initiatives keep pace with actual industry needs. Many current courses remain outdated or too theoretical. The revised policy should: Prioritize core tech skills like AI basics, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data handling across sectors. Ensure industry collaboration for designing relevant, future-ready modules. Include project-based learning and internships as standard, not optional. Provide post-training support — mentorship, job linkages, and upskilling pathways. Skilling must lead to employability, not just certification. A focused, practical tech-driven approach will help India’s youth thrive in tomorrow’s workforce.

To enhance the National Policy for Skill Development, integrate vocational training into school education and align skill courses with industry needs. Promote digital learning in regional languages, focusing on rural and underprivileged groups. Encourage entrepreneurship through financial literacy, startup support, and practical exposure. Empower state-level bodies for localised training delivery. Increase private sector participation via incentives and partnerships. Emphasize future skills like AI, green energy, and gig work. Ensure certification credibility and track placement outcomes with real-time monitoring. Enable global employability through international standards and migration readiness training.

हर ईन्सान मे 2/4 qualities गुण skill होते ही है वो inbuild होता है जो प्रकृती देती है पर ईन्सान क्या करता है उसे polish करने के बजाय unpolished करता है 4example a doctor cn be a good writer or poet 4elemts play a major role in skill 1st- mother cause child from womb to upto 3yrs complete mother dependency ²parenting- both & important role upbringing सोच समझ संस्कार सुरक्षा स्वाभिमान ³ गुरु now school teacher ⁴ समाज society (then become nation identity ) skill came after realization of inner qualities or interest so human cn be a multitasking multi-player or in multilayers activities 4example soc/ media पर कुछ volge observe किए तो a housewife- खाना भी बनाती है kids upbringing जिसको जैसा interest do work - कपडे सीना या पेड gardening जैसे पहले woman - खेती मे भी काम करती है कुछ skill ईन्सान को सिखाने नही पडते अपने-आप देखकर सीख लेता है या समय के हिसाब से सीख लेता है ..

🙏All states in India require that only those who have completed their teacher's degree or P.G. (B.A., M. A., B. Sc., M. Sc., B. Ed., M. Ed., PHD) can join government jobs. Such students who have completed this level of education are eligible for government school teachers. but with this level of education they are not teaching students in government schools properly, But in Private schools, those who have just completed degrees teach students well and are paid a salary of 10,000 to 15,000, whereas government teachers are paid 1,00,000 to 1,50,000 Students can't speak English properly for even a minute. Is this because of the students or the teachers, or the government that appointed the teachers? They do all these things, like the breakfast program, the afternoon meals program, but why they don't teach education properly?There are no such programs in private schools but every student stands on stage to speak for an hour in English or another language Who is
