As per the recommendations made in NEP 2020, a set of standards has been developed to ensure that all students at all levels of school education are taught by passionate, motivated, highly qualified, professionally trained, and well-equipped teachers. National Professional Standard for Teachers(NPST) would help in determining the attributes of the teachers at different levels of career pathways. In addition to this, NPST focuses on preparations, practice and performance improvement of all teachers. The standards and related policies are in line with the fundamental principles given in the NEP 2020 to provide high quality education to all. NCTE was mandated by the Ministry to formulate a guiding document and platform for operationalizing NPST.

National Professional Standard for Teachers (NPST) will monitor the design of pre-service teacher education program. This could be then adopted by states and determine all aspects of teacher career management, including tenure, professional development efforts, salary increases, promotions, and other recognitions.

In this regard, a draft document on NPST has been developed by NCTE after incorporating ideas and suggestions received from experts of various domains. The draft document has been released on November 17, 2021 to invite the suggestions and feedback from all stakeholders.

hon'ble P.M sir,NPST/NCTE its Hon'ble members Now a days and olden days are quit different in Education system. In olden days school/colleges teaching is in direct face to face in between teachers and students, with information and explanation is on BLOCK BOARD. In present situation our country is fully developed with Information & digital technology and every one are using the same in their hands. Teachers are to be qualified in these subjects,then they may give proper education.

सबसे पहले ये अनिवार्य हो की योग्य शिक्षक भर्ती हो योग्यता जरूरी है ये मूर्ख टीचर बच्चो को क्या शिक्षा देगा ये स्वयं सोच ले सेलरी 15 हजार फिक्स करे नए बच्चो को योग्यता के आधार पे रखा जाय योग्यता ही पैमाना हो

Professionalism can be adopted if we do-follow 1) Recruitment through performance 2) Promotion, reward on biannual performance 3)Performance level in the laboratory, workshop, seminar, quizzes and induction of test as prerequisite criteria for the next promotion of both the pupil and teacher. 4) The teacher-pupil ratio must be maintained 1:30 ratio in any circumstances. 5) The interaction between leading search engines and the authority should be maintained to fulfil global parameters.

Take fake video like this in the name of naughty and others. It's perverse to say that you're just playing after panic. The game should not be disruptive and should not offend others. The Government of India must come up with strong legislation to prevent this. Similarly to Chinese children. शरारती और अन्य के नाम पर इस तरह का फर्जी वीडियो बनाएं। यह कहना गलत है कि आप सिर्फ दहशत के बाद खेल रहे हैं। खेल विघटनकारी नहीं होना चाहिए और दूसरों को ठेस नहीं पहुंचाना चाहिए। इसे रोकने के लिए भारत सरकार को सख्त कानून बनाना चाहिए। इसी तरह चीनी बच्चों के लिए। बदमाशों को अपहरण और यातना जैसे शरारती वीडियो डालने में भी मजा आता है। https://fb.watch/9OR6k9UZ1a/

Teachers must study psychology at least one papper. Thus it will help to understand behavior of students Teachers must consider other activities of students other than book studies Provide weely monitoring for students to find their inability and to render their ability Weekly training session about new areas to teachers

Hon'ble PM sir & NPST,NCTE council members, I submit that,now a days teachers profession is very good. MyGovt has taken so many welfare measurements to them. To improve their standard ,Knowledge may be taken into consideration while appointing, instead of reservation system and their services may be observed first 5 years by disciplinary Committee reports, if their services are good, they may be regularized or if their service is not good, they may be removed from services.
