When people reach to court, they come to know that listed cases for that day are listed for some other date.
There are many people who come to attend hearing from far off places. Their travel, stay and lawyers expenses goes waste.
Sudden change in date is quite expensive for poor litigants who at times have to arrange money by selling houses or jewellery.
With eCourts perhaps few eventualities can be planned and sms or emails can be sent.
What can be done if judge goes on sudden leave?

There should be digital platform where all judges in india can discuss serious mayters and conduct annual meeting. First appoint district level judges, itself will solve many things. Maharastra has lowest vacansy and it contributes in gdp by lowering pending cases. First create index which will tell impact of pending cases on gdp of that state and economy .

Long pending cases can be diverted to National legal services authority where they can be empowered with digital infrastructure that would result in speedy and fair justice.
