The e-Committee of the Supreme Court has been overseeing the implementation of the e-Courts Project, conceptualized under the "National Policy and Action Plan for Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Indian Judiciary-2005". It is the mission mode project carried out by the Department of Justice.

The e-Committee has evolved in terms of its roles and responsibilities over the last fifteen years. The objectives of the e-Committee include:
The Interlinking of all courts across the country.
ICT enablement of the Indian judicial system.
Enhancing judicial productivity.
Making the justice delivery system accessible, cost-effective, transparent, and accountable.
Providing citizen-centric services.

As Phase-II will soon conclude, the draft vision document for Phase III is prepared. This draft Vision Document outlines an inclusive, agile, open, and user-centric vision for courts in Phase III of the e-Courts Project.

Phase III envisions digital courts that deliver justice as a service to all, beyond simply replicating offline processes digitally. The use of technology in the judiciary is therefore guided by two facets central to Gandhian thought—access and inclusion. In addition, the core values of trust, empathy, sustainability, and transparency provide the guardrails for achieving the founding vision.

Building over the advancements made in Phases I & II of the project, this document articulates the need to exponentially advance the digitization of courts by (a) simplifying procedures, (b) creating a digital infrastructure, and the (c) establishment of the right institutional and governance framework, such as technology offices at various levels to enable the judiciary to appropriately employ technology. It articulates key goals for putting in place the digital infrastructure and services for Phase III.

This vision document envisions a platform architecture for technology that will enable diverse digital services to further evolve over time at scale. It also is designed to take an ecosystem approach that leverages the existing capacities in different stakeholders such as civil society leaders, universities, practitioners, and technologists to realise this future.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India has called for comments, suggestions, and inputs on the draft vision document for its 3rd phase of the e-Courts Project from all its stakeholders to refine and plan the implementation of the next phase of the e-Courts Project.

Here are a number of scope to upgrade our law n justice system..you were in the starting 2014-15,.attempt to change something ineffective old laws.but afternoon the time this matter gone in fark , so e -court is good intiative.here agiant need to change in system. as example, rera rules are created in favour of customer,but rules are not available in simple language and structure for people the do'nt know,website also very complicated,so all system of justice is heavily need to re formulated.

इस्लाम धर्म को हिंदुस्तान से निष्काषित करो अगर इन सुन्नी मुसलमानों शिया मुसलमानों को अभी जन संख्या विस्फोटक आबादी का ज्ञान विज्ञान समझमें नही आता तो कठोर कानून व्यवस्था बनादे बिना ह्यूमन राइट हनन करें

e courts like wise e books make a app/portal where the party can mention it's case &if possible judges cn give direct judgement in at least at causal cases trial &error base cause st people don't know the law&can't understand it's language &2nd those know it misuse/misguide it so make parallel line in it like a bridge by digital help language also matter it's&taken from the diffirent countries why,change now make r own law is not static it changes according to changing needs of society

आदरणीय प्रधान मंत्री जी, ecourt ये सुझाव बहुत ही अच्छा है レनीचे के courts मे बहुत समय की बर्बादी होती है। इन courts मै 80 % cases होते है।यही पर maximum corruption hai.....कई बार judge bhi ऐसे बर्ताव करते है। जैसे जो आदमी justice के लिये आया है। उसका trust ही नही रहता ,judiciary per से ।।हर आदमी आप की बहादुर नही हो सकता।।।

Manniye pradhan mantri ji ,aaj ke aadhunik yug me ecourt samay ki mang hai .isse logo ko suvidha milega evam bharstachar me bhi kami aayegi.aaye din jail me band kaidiyo ko court me late samay marejaene ki khabar milti hai ,ecourt se isme bhi kami aayegi.case ko niptane me bhi sahyog milega .anawaayak rup se files ke janjal se chhutkara milegi

As it Seems a Very Data Sensitive and Very crucial concept, the Govt. Of India must look for the best Technicians and programmers from the Private Sector Hired over the Contract Basis up untill the project is done

e-Court में कुछ खामियां भी हो सकती है। ई- कोर्ट के सफल संचालन के लिए नेट इंटरनेट, अत्याधुनिक उपकरण के साथ ताल मेल जरूरी है। किसी एक कड़ी के फेल होने पर सारा का सारा काम प्रभावित हो सकता है। क्योंकि व्यवहारिकता एक अलग चीज है।
