it is a good initiative put forth by the Prime Minister to save our resources. There are someme people who will take this initiative lightly and won't contribute to this, therefore we have to make them understand about the merits of this initiative.Saving petrol/diesel for one day will help us alot, also will help our country to move ahead and also will fulfill the needs of our coming generation and keeping that in mind we should really need to take a step ahead and save our resources. ✌ #PCRA

Make Cycle riding cool to appeal to the young generation. The younger generation is very health and environment conscious You should lead by example, if the country's leaders start using cycles for shorter distances they can serve as an inspiration. Cycles can be sold at a discount rate and also encourage walking for shorter distances.

Total population using self vehicle can be divided into those having no other reliable option and those who use it for prestige/ sho off. If we can address this to all college going students, and reserve say some incentive by way of 2 to 5 marks per semester based on self-declaration then we can have a good effect as well as concious citizens in coming years.

The idea of carpooling for students should be encouraged by the schools by designing an app which can sort out the students on the basis of PIN code and provide them information of students residing in nearby areas which are willing to pool vehicle. coming from school it wont pose any privacy concern for the parents also

Reduce the cycle cost in metro cities to reduce petrol consumption and talk to all companies to promote cycles. Issue discount vouchers to working employee via an app or website. Make their Pan card as user id and allow them to buy up to 2 cycles and give benefit in convince allowance in salary slip.

Integrate Public Transport: One of the saddest things about Indian transport network is that even though people know there is a train service from point A to point B, they do not know how to get to point A and how to move to their destination from point B. Information on Google Maps and on Internet in general about this last mile connectivity is lacking. This will be a simple and implementable step.

Wherever possible construct separate path for cyclist. the path should be in such a way that it colorful (using colored tiles or painting etc.) and it should connect any market from nearby residential area. The people would like to go by cycle instead of bikes or cars. After this govt. should encourage the the users of this path to plant the saplings of colorful flowers and enhances greenness...if possible encourage to start cycle path users association to maintain that.
