The National Commission for Women, a Statutory Body set up in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 has the mandate to safeguard the constitutional and statutory rights of women. The Commission initiates program which aids empowerment and holistic development of women so that they are capable to gain access to opportunities and make their own decisions.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was launched in 2000 by the U.N General Assembly. It is observed annually on November 25th. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women seeks to raise awareness about violence against women. This day aims to eliminate violence by removing stigma and encouraging women to speak out against abusers. This day defines violence against women as any act of gender-based violence that results in or is likely to result in, physical, sexual, or psychological harm to women. The goal of this day is to achieve equality, development, and peace. It aims toward the fulfillment of women's and girls’ human rights.

In pursuance of its mandate and in order to achieve the goal of ‘Elimination of Violence against Women', the Commission invites inputs, suggestions, and feedback from all stakeholders through MyGov Portal, with a focus on Breaking the Silence against Gender Violence. The aim of the programme is to promote equality, development, and peace among the masses.

The last date to receive suggestions/input is 24th December 2021.

औरतों को ज्यादा से ज्यादा सरकारी नौकरी में स्थान दिया जाना चाहिए जितना पॉसिबल हो सके, सशक्तिकरण से ही हल संभव है ।

On the side a board with number to be contacted for a woman in distress should be displaced every 500 meters . May be electrical pole can be used. So that woman or her neighbour can call on that number to lodge complaint against domestic violence and seek help in time

Drinking habit is catching up by both the sexes these days in the name of high society trends . Then rest becomes the history. Then violence against women becomes the reason to make them suffer physically first then gets abused and mentally tortured. So , it becomes all in one package . Nobody should be allowed to drink more than two pegs for pleasure sake as a rule . No joints should be allowed to serve more than the fixed amount. Otherwise, their pubs and restaurants should be closed forever

Rape is also becoming very serious concern in today’s world. People seems to have become unstable and mentally dis balanced as it’s becoming very common routine and easy game to rape anyone and to kill afterwards is the new trend setting up to save themselves from being caught. Or to fool oneself of leaving no evidence or eyewitness . Only devil mind ppl can act in this way. So devilish mind ppl needs to be caught timely and punished hard to save others falling prey to them in future.

Unfortunately, even educated and working girls or woman are being thrashed by Male folks. Successful women are also not being spared . Complex generated amongst men by seeing their women doing better than them make them feel small . This unexpressed feeling force them to behave in an inappropriate manner by creating situations to show women in poor light and then showing their manly power to harm them at all cost. Rule should be made to protect the dignity of the women at all cost .

Very serious concern is Dowry deaths too. Greed for money makes boys family blind and forces the girl to fulfil unending demands by her family at all cost. This is so painful for the girl to see the suffering of the parents and to take on the physical and mental violence. Demand of the time is to abolish the dowry system completely and punish those who practice even after stopping it. They need to be put for lifetime behind the bars if girl dies or is forced to commit suicide.

We need to address our concern about Foremost reason which is generally seen and heard is for producing girl child instead of a boy . This can only be stopped by spreading messages through various digital sources ,print media and awareness campaigns run by govt and civil society. Even hospitals has a major role to impact and change the mindset by telling the truth that it’s men who plays the role in producing a boy not the women. Woman has XX chromosome and Man has XY. Then XY plays the game

Hon'ble Prime Minister. The National Commission for Women, a Statutory Body set up in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 has the mandate to safeguard the constitutional and statutory rights of women. The aim gof this programme is to prombeote equality, development, and peace among the masses. There is traditional proverb that if a girl child is educated the whole family will be educated.Hence girl childjrens should be given preferance in the prevention list of violence

Please sir, reserve 2 out of 5Panchayat seats for woman only. One from BackwardClass & one from general category. They can help in establishing the thought of what woman want & can oppress the Khap Panchayats.Out of remaining 3, men&woman can both contest depending on their capabilities. This can remove patriarchal decision culture in the Panchayats. Also please reserve35-40%seats for woman in Police,TrafficPolice,CISF,RAFs.If pvt.companies, may be not 40%,but can do so then why not Govt.Companies
