The Govt. of India has set-up a High Level Committee (HLC) of experienced persons and experts under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Shanta Kumar, to recommend restructuring of Food Corporation of India (FCI) with a view to improving its operational efficiencies and financial management.

The constitution of the High Level Committee by the Government of India and its terms of reference are placed in the public domain at FCI website: www.fciweb.nic.in

General Public and stake-holders including professionals, academicians, scientists, NGOs/institutions, self-help groups, co-operatives, farmer bodies/associations, rice/ flour millers, handling & transport contractors, government bodies etc. in the field of food management, agriculture, storage, warehousing, supply chain and logistics etc. are hereby solicited to send their suggestions on restructuring of the Food Corporation of India.

Suggestions are also invited to reorient the role of FCI in Minimum Support Price operations, storage and distribution of foodgrains and food security systems of the country.

Views may also be given with regard to integration of supply chain of foodgrains in the country, suggesting most efficient model for storage and least cost option of moving grains alongwith tracking of carriage. Views on
models of scientific storage and upgradation of technology in management of foodgrains are also welcome.

Respected PM, I am very happy with the way you are going forward, but I want you take some decission about the corruption in govt work i,e in village area dealer ship, construction of Road and medical everywhere, contractor and Bloock staff(JE, SDO ,Computer programmer, doing corruption. please make one central investigation team to check so that corruption will be decrease

Create more storage so that food grains are not left out in the open for rotting. It shouldn’t be transferred on open trucks, make it mandatory to use close container (fitted with GPS) to transfer foodgrains, so trucks can be monitored on real time basis and in between sale of goods by truck driver can be stopped. Modernize FCI by introducing new technologies to monitor live inventory. People dealing with transfer and storage of food grains should be made more accountable.

Resected PM Sir, Following are the suggestions on Restructuring of FCI: 1. Check corruption issues and make it clean, 2. Use PPP model as early as possible, 3. Recruitment of skilled youth, 4. Undertake mission mode projects like 'Economic Analysis' & 'Community Analysis', 5.Presentations about the organization via print & electronic media etc.

Teaching should be done on the basis of follows so that students may attract more towards schools- 1.Small KV schools for class I-V should be in every village & teachers should be qualified and trained. 2.Students should be taught how to clean themselves,their houses, surroundings,meal & water and to behave with elders and ladies(one class daily in Hindi). 3.Science,current affairs & social studies (one class daily in English). 4.Basic Math's.(one class daily). 5.All sports 2-3 hrs daily.

1. गोदाम की संख्या बढ़ाओ ताकि माल खराब न हो। 2. क्षेत्रीय आवश्यकताओं के अनुसार भंडारण व्यवस्था करे। 3. माल/उपज के खराब होने पर संबन्धित अधिकारी पर त्वरित कार्यवाही हो। 5. जिन स्थानों पर अत्यधिक सामाग्री का अपव्यय हुआ है, उन स्थानों पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए। 6. एफ़सीआई के हर संभाग स्तर पर संभाग केंद्र खोले जाएँ। 7. एफ़सीआई से सीधे रसद विभाग को जोड़ा जाए।

Create a NATIONAL EMERGENCY/HELPLINE NUMBER (similar to 911 in the US) for any Police, Fire, Emergency, Ambulance. Bring all other services under this, so that the trained operators can route citizens' calls to the respective departments for action based on the citizens location ascertained through GPRS. This will go a long way in ensuring quick response and build confidence among citizens.

Another point I would like.to say that qualification for school.teaching is B.Ed. essential with.basic qualification. This won't improve quality of education. Teachers should be selected first on the basis of merit, markes obtained. No entrance exam. Once selected then they ahould undergo training of B.Ed. Or similar training spending extra hours for own education. Merely completing B.Ed. will not make them teacher of required quality.
