The Govt. of India has set-up a High Level Committee (HLC) of experienced persons and experts under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Shanta Kumar, to recommend restructuring of Food Corporation of India (FCI) with a view to improving its operational efficiencies and financial management.

The constitution of the High Level Committee by the Government of India and its terms of reference are placed in the public domain at FCI website: www.fciweb.nic.in

General Public and stake-holders including professionals, academicians, scientists, NGOs/institutions, self-help groups, co-operatives, farmer bodies/associations, rice/ flour millers, handling & transport contractors, government bodies etc. in the field of food management, agriculture, storage, warehousing, supply chain and logistics etc. are hereby solicited to send their suggestions on restructuring of the Food Corporation of India.

Suggestions are also invited to reorient the role of FCI in Minimum Support Price operations, storage and distribution of foodgrains and food security systems of the country.

Views may also be given with regard to integration of supply chain of foodgrains in the country, suggesting most efficient model for storage and least cost option of moving grains alongwith tracking of carriage. Views on
models of scientific storage and upgradation of technology in management of foodgrains are also welcome.

IF WE ARE UNABLE TO CONSTRUCT 1000 GODOWNS IN 1000 TOWNS IN 6 MONTHS TIME WHY WE ARE TALKING OF INFRASTRUCTURE DEVLOPMENT ALL THE TIME. MODI JI ACTION KA TIME AA GAYA HE. PLEASE INSTRUCT THE CONCERNED MINISTRIES TO TAKE ACTION ASAP.

IF WE CONVERT THIS 58K CRORES WORTH ROT FOOD GRAINS IN TO BIO GAS ALMOST 2 MILLION LPG GAS CYLINDERS COULD BE REFILLED. THAT ALSO WE ARE UNABLE TO DO. WAKE UP CALL FOR CENTRAL /STATE GOVT. TO CONSTRUCT NEW GODOWNS AND IF AT ALL FOODGRAINS ARE WASTED/ROT IN OPEN CONVERT THEM IN TO FUEL.

EVERY YEAR Rs. 58000 CRORES WORTH OF FOOD GRAINS IS BEING WASTED AND GETS ROTS AS IT IS LYING IN THE OPEN IN MOONSOON WITHOUT ANY WAREHOUSING OR GODOWNS, WHEN WILL WE REALISE THAT WE NEED TO BUILD GODOWNS FOR STORAGE, WAKE UP CALL FOR CENTRAL/STATE GOVT.

GOVT. NEEDS TO BUILD AT LEAST 1000 NEW GODOWNS/WAREHOUSES IN 1000 SMALL TOWNS /VILLAGES FOR STORING FOOD GRAINS. THIS COULD BE DONE IN 6 MONTHS TIME BY PWD, CPWD, BUT NEEDS WILL POWER OF THE GOVT. THIS IS A MUST SITUATION FOR THE COUNTRY.

Dear Modi ji. Its time for action. Action speak louder than word. India is having tremendous scope to become most develop economy of the world.We are not lacking behind in talent but we are lacking behind in approach toward utilization of talent.My state Jharkhand is very rich in natural resources but its people is deprived of the basic need because resources are not utilized properly.The person who are not performing and still in the system should be replaced by someone who want to do something

बल्कि सरजी हम तो यही कहते है जो है उसी को ठीक से चलाओ बस उसमे काम करने वाले लोगो को हाथ पकड़ के नहीं कान पकड़ के उनकी ड्यूटी करने पे मजबूर करदो।। क्युकी उनको पता है के अनाज ख़राब हो या जो हो उनको कुछ नहीं करना है एक जांच कर के संसाधनों का अभाव दिखा के हस देना है।। और ये सबको पता है।।।। ज्यादा कुछ न करो पहले इनको ठीक करो और अब योजनाओ को जमीन पे लाओ क्युकी अब सिर्फ और सिर्फ बातें हो रही है। जय हिन्द

First of all grains stock must be collected from each and every corner and reinnovate the warehouses of storage not only on paper but also on ground level very soon... Then improve the pds system... And all steps should be done in strict guidence.....

I have one thought for ration shops..Now public are going to ration shops they are showing slips and taking goods from there but in between so many people are not taking goods.Ration shop dealers are selling that to another cost and they are making money..To stop this type of things..we have to introduce one POS machine through NPCI(aadhar) authentication.that machine have to give ration shop dealer.and next people will come take goods with authentication.WILL CONTINUE IN NEXT POST
