There are many unsung heroes who fought for our India's independence. There are many such heros in Tamilnadu and their families are struggling even today without any recognition or support from the Government. A separate data base of such unsung heroes and the details about their greatest sacrifice and contribution made by them has to be documented. Then only our next generations will know about them. Some freedom fighters doesn't get pension and they are neglected. Their kids are not getting any support for their medical or education needs.
Government should take steps to collect data of all the freedom fighters across India and ensure that they are getting pension or any other basic amenities for their comfortable stay. Boasting fake leaders and hiding the details of real freedom fighters should be reduced. Every year Government should identify real freedom fighters and honour them during Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations as a respect to their services.
