What the world witnessed in the form of the COVID-19 crisis was beyond anybody’s wildest dreams. Though the world beheld chaos unfolds before its eyes in starting 2020, it also saw the unprecedented courage, service, and sacrifice of our doctors, nurses & frontline workers during these tough times.

As the second wave of COVID-19 once again tests India's strength & dedication in defeating this virus, we cannot thank our true COVID warriors enough for their spirit, fearlessness, and resolve.

Doctors, nurses & frontline workers have isolated themselves away from their families & have been working day and night to battle all the atrocities of the raging pandemic.

But are we doing enough for them?
The least we can do is make their jobs easier by following COVID Appropriate Behaviour& take out our time to say a heartfelt thank you. Let's make them feel valued. Let’s tell them that they are appreciated every day, but also especially during this unprecedented time, we are all facing together. Let’s hail the selfless work done by the medical professionals in India in dealing with the virus.

Though Thank you might sound like a small word against the momentous task they have undertaken, yet let’s make a small start. Join the Thank You Healthcare Workers Initiative & share your message to encourage them to move on to this difficult task of saving the lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.

New variants would be controlled also because none had believed that India could be able to fulfil the vaccination process as smoothly as many countries could not find even in situational positions with half or less than the entire population strength of India. It would be the proper way to show our gratitude and heartiest thanks to all the health workers, clinical staff in particular by assigning them in person, not applauding them from safest distance. The role of health workers were adorable.

Now a days more important to wear MASK and maintain social distance and other precautions to be taken by every one, to prevent any virus infections as prescribed from MyGovt and health department instructions. Instead of wearing of HELMET & seat belt in vehicles on riding. As because a Virus is silent killer, than these items. MyGovt may impose of fine of minimum Rs.100/- those who are not following Covid guidelines. To take precautions by every body. It is my opinion only.

Government of india is going on increasing the salary of government staff and constitutional functionaries ,its high time government ensure commensurate increase in minimum wages and salaries of all health care workers . And ensure health care workers are provided accomodation near to the hospitals to increase their ease of living .Govt should make model building guidelines ensure mandatory nurses quarters near all hospitals and start a project on mission mode along with bystander accomodation

For the highest income bracket in income tax, surcharge and cess should be introduced for upgrading health infrastructure and those money should be used to increase capacity of health care workers and health infrastructure. It's nearly 2 years after covid 18 started india has not ramped up the health infrastructure, instead of building more roads leading to pollution governments should utilize those funds to ramp up health care infrastructure rapidly would be real tribute to healthcare worker

The current medical council rules related to approval of foreign medical colleges is vague as it doesn't recognize its previous approved list. Medical council should urgently inspect and certificate ,which foreign medical colleges could be considered as meeting indian medical education standards. It would be futile if indian students spend huge amount of money in foreign medical colleges and later it turns those medical colleges are not recognized by medical council of india currently

Every year thousands of students seek admission in medical colleges outside of india as they can't afford cost of education in india. This results in foreign exchange outflow. But most approximately 80% could not clear foreign medical graduate entrance test in india and could not practice in india. FDI should be allowed to enable foreign investors to start medical colleges in India at lower fees. Existing foreign qualified should be trained, examined and given license to practice in India
