Lack of livelihood opportunities for tribal people is one of the chief causes of their backward status as compared with the other social groups. This issue is aggravated by the high rate of displacements faced by tribal people due to various industrial projects etc., which also causes loss of livelihood for them among other things. This Ministry has been taking various steps for facilitating sustainable livelihood for tribal populations in different sectors. Stress has been given on vocational education and formal technical education for tribal youth. States are being encouraged to take upskill development initiatives for tribal youth with at least 50% of such activities to be oriented for women.

Through MyGov, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs seeks suggestions/information from all sections of the society regarding various livelihood possibilities for tribal people, availability of skilled/unskilled manpower still unemployed, various traditional skills available with the tribal population, new trends and interests among tribal youth, corresponding skilling needs and possibilities etc.

1. Tribals have specialised ancestral skills, which can be developed to suit requirements of modern world. Skill Development centres need to be established by Government 2. Soft loans be provided to Tribal Entrepreneurs by Banks 3. Marketing, Branding and Online Retailing of goods produced by tribals should be supported by Government of India 4. GOVERNMENT PROVIDE MONEY TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO DIED IN TRAIN ACCIDENT.IF RAILWAY USE THESE MONEY BEFORE ACCIDENT FOR THE BETTERMENT OF RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE AND TECHNOLOGY,THESE TYPE OF ACCIDENT WOULD BE STOP AND PRECIOUS LIFE OF PEOPLE WOULD BE SAVED BECAUSE EVERYBODY KNOWS THE REASON OF THESE ACCIDENTS.

Other areas of opportunities are in coffee farms which are in abundance in tangkhul region, banana farming and other fruits of high variety which grow grow naturally in the region can be tapped by employing local tribals on adhoc basis thus generating employment and meet the demands of fruits for the country.

As I m working in a field which enables me to interact with tribals and that too of Manipur which is a far flung and extremely exploited state. I feel sorry that people of remote areas of Manipur don't even enjoy the basic facilities of electricity, road, education ,medical facilities and employment. Unemployment is the biggest concern in the naga tribal area. The best way to develope such area is by making the people of same region responsible by giving them employment in there home dist

Its most important to safeguard the interest of the tribals and the areas where they lived. Specially tribal areas in Bihar, Orrisa, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh should be preserved from the clutches of the Maoism and anti social elements. Its very important that all the areas which comes under the Indian territory should come under control of the Indian Govt. It should not be under the control of anti social elements. Govt. should take care of the same.at the earliest
