Dear Citizens of Rajkot,

The Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) is all set to re-invigorate the Smart City proposal preparation process as part of Round II of the Smart City Mission. The City missed the first list by a whisker and is poised to ensure success this time around. RMC is currently working closely with the citizens to strengthen its smart city proposal. The participation of citizens is absolutely crucial in ensuring the success of our city.

We request you for your suggestion and inputs for improvement of our city’s proposal submitted in the Round I. Your views on smart solutions and city priorities would help us to further innovate and strengthen the proposal for the Round II. Kindly give suggestions for improvement of services within the city with focus on physical and social infrastructure plans. The Broad spectrum of service areas is provided below:

• Adequate water supply including waste water recycling and storm water reuse,
• Assured electricity supply including solar power,
• Sanitation, including solid waste management,
• Efficient urban mobility and public transport,
• Affordable Housing, especially for poor,
• Robust IT connectivity and digitalization,
• Good Governance, especially e-Governance and citizen participation,
• Sustainable environment,
• Ensuring safety of citizens, especially women and elderly, and
• Health and Education

Pls do work in the area of software park bcoz it creates opportunity for new generation. Pls do budget provision in it. Rajkot is a economic hub for entire saurashtra region.

We can make Smart City by following steps. 1.Plantation More and More Trees with Long Care. 2.Use Public Transportation more and more(make better service for transportation). 3.Promote Cycel Project and develop More Cycle Track. 4.Banned pollution creating Vehicle. 5.Banned use of plastic which create pollution.

We also see about security regrading to antisocial personality who are not respect to older people and any time ready for fighting with anyone. Its really big iusse in rajkot city. In our culture respect and apologize is first. So we need peace in our #smartcity #RJK

Improvements in transportation accessibility by including Hindi and English in all BRTS/Local City Buses, GSRTC buses and all Signages in the city that help people navigate. It will help us gain trust and ease of access from people who don't know Gujarati and Rajkot will move a step forward in becoming a smart city. #SmartCityRajkot #GlobalCityRajkot

RMC Should Improve in following: 1. Waste Management 2. Traffic and Transportation(In terms of traffic rule followup) Rajkot requires smart solutions for: 1. Water conservation 2. Waste Management 3. Public security

In Rajkot some village area not reach vehicle like GSRTC or minibus etc...and road construction very poor Solve it first. When village properly progress then city automatic make in smarter.

first of all make some tight rules for traffic. ban the chhakdo rickshaw which is main factor for pollution. and also develop road and other basic amenities like street lines and so on in mavdi area. make some parking rules because all the second hand car merchant park the cars on brts service track near to radhe hotel and these are all second hand car merchant are bahubali so make some tight rules for them and other thing is ban the nonveg in public #SmartCity, #Rajkot, #SmartCityPropos

Rajkot has most diversify people and always fun loving and need to handle very carefully. Smart city project will make rajkot more smart as well as infrastructural development is greater aspect.
