water conservation should become priority of the city. rain harvesting, use of recycled water should be encouraged and included in the byelaws

Rajkot citizen should be made aware of the ways to use non conventional energy including solar energy and wind energy. subsidies should be given for installation of solar panels and wind mills for residential use

Water conservation and water management is an essential theme of any initiative in the city. Rajkot state has improved over the years but still there should be a comprehensive plan to make the city water surplus by efficient distribution usage and diversifying sources include treated water reuse

Footpaths are found rarely in the city. Wherever it has been built, encroachments or hawkers tend to block the space. Hence a plan to provide wide footpaths especially along the major commercial spaces, bus stands and office zones which attracts a huge number of citizens
