Higher education cannot sustain only through public funding. While public private partnerships in higher education have been pursued as a strategy, not many have shown successful results. Hence, the PPP models need to be revisited so as to allow more meaningful collaborations. A critical analysis of PPP in HE , the existing legal provisions and which viable models are possible need to carried out.

The government should focus on quality of education from KG to 10th in various existing schools in India. The government should give good infrastructure to all the existing schools. Infrastructure is one of a major reasons of dropouts from schools in India. Think on it why will you stay in a place which is dirtier/unpleasant than your home? Good infrastructure, digital learning equipments, more skilled and more dedicated teachers, big compound walls (provide isolation to the school environment)

Private school are running for income module. They are completing syllabus by giving home work only. This is spoiling childhood of our children. We should make a policy to stop giving home work to student.

Private sector needs to be encouraged in promoting and imparting quality education instead of imposing regulatory frame work.Autonomy in education will automatically transform into quality education without which private entrepreneurs will not survive. Also there is no organised HRM function in the whole education sector while strangely it comes under HRD ministry itself.Teaching as a profession needs to be encouraged at all levels.Teacher training is as important as that of students itself..

Stop the Macaulay model of education... where students pass by remembering things and writing wrong irrelevant pages. Make the education practical- based, from the primary level. There should be proper laboratories and good teachers. Combine all the state level and central educational boards to a common and more powerful board. Researches should be encouraged.

Private initiatives are contributing significantly to Education and there is a need to extend official recognition and support to such initiatives. Samskrita educational initiatives such as those provided by Samskirta Bharathi are to be integrate them into the governmental plan and provide material support. Please see a media statement by an NGO Veda Shikshana Samithi w.r.t to this issue - http://mediastatements.blogspot.in/2015/01/samskrita-initiatives-need-official.html

Why there are number of Boards for primary education, Different syllabus and infra for little children, Once there needs are same they want a good and quality start up for better future. Can anyone compere between a CBSE School like KVs and a school of UP Board or Bihar Board, Are they getting the same, They don,t need mid day meal, There needs are to get level playing opportunity, which they never gets in state boards, Am i right.. Make it central Board and give them what,s they want.
