sir,
my suggestion for the requiring e-waste management is below:-
as under pmkvy a separate computer hardware corse are being provided to a large no of youths. so why not give them first a task of collecting information of useless or old computers being used in 1st govt offices then to banks or some ppp institutions by dividing them in small units.then after by exaching those units give them a temporary job of upgradation required to the various institution.

In a layman terms every man should understand the need of ewaste management. We convey our message through posters at public places. Also we can inculcate in school children to bring in ewaste from there houses, or to collect the ewaste from there locality. Even we can guide the local scrap dealers and bring awareness about the ewaste. Through print and mass media we can also convey our message for ewaste with a tag line. The greater succces of waste management lies in proper waste segregation. Old batteries and other electronic goods need to be handed over to the municipality separately. Availabilty of good equipments are essential inorder to separate out the crushed wastes in waste recovery units. Ensuring good efficiency in every hierarchy of the waste recovery steps are essential. Municipality can announce meagre rewards in return of waste electronic goods. This will urge people to return old recyclable goods

There are 3 ways in which we can manage waste of all types including e-waste. There are electronic separators available already which can help in separation of waste.
1.landfilling
2.recycling and composting

E-waste contains some toxic chemicals, so we shouldn't throw them because they can pollute the environment instead they should be recycled.
1) if it contains some valuable metals then separate the metallic contains and resold it as row material
2)student should be taught how to make use of old gadgets, how to repair them or if it can't be repaired then where to sell them. it will decrease the waste.
3) books on e waste management should included in courses of primary classes.
