Modiji, I urge you to restructure the education system in India. In last 10 years that system has gone to worse. I feel alarmed when I hear that teachers cannot fail a student. I feel alarmed when I see cutoff lists in colleges going to 100%. How do you expect millions of students coming out of schools to get higher education and develop their skills? I see extremely low skilled people sent overseas by companies in IT sector. Soon some other country will take over from India.

India needs to strengthen laws that govern making of pharmaceutical drugs. The news of deaths following ingestion of an antibiotics following sterilization procedure in one Indian state should wake up authorities. Drug laws should be stringent like in USA and India needs a "FDA" like agency.

DEAR JI, WHEN MODIJI COMES TO SYDNEY MAKE IT CLEAR THAT OCI MAY BE AT PAR WITH INDIAN CITIZENSHIP. OTHERWISE WITH OCI YOU CANNOT DO MUCH IN INDIA. YOU CANNOT VOTE,YOU CANNOT CONTEST ELECTIONS,YOU CANNOT BUY AGRI LANDS, YOU CANNOT BECOME MINISTERS,GOVERNORS,YOU CANNOT PRACTICE LAW, YOU CANNOT DO GOVT JOBS, YOU CANNOT GET MANY THINGS AT PART WITH INDIANS. SO ASK MODIJI TO MAKE INDIAN OCI AT PAR WITH DUAL CITIZENSHIP...JUST LONG TERM VISA MAKES NO SENSE. WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH LONG TERM STAY ???

A colleague of mine has pointed out that priests in some, even famous temples, in India demand money for 'pujas'. I felt terribly bad at this fact(many Hindus encounter this often), considering temples are one of the hallmarks of Indian culture. Even well funded temples don't pay these guardians of our culture decently, when maintenance of the temples and paying the archakas properly should be the top priority for them. Another concern, of course, is priests who are not genuinely spiritual.

As a person who travels all over world for my work i can clearly see the difference in the facilities and tourism friendliness between our country and the other countries. We somehow are not very encouraging for any tourist to move around and experience our country. We have a very beautiful country but we have failed to market it well. The Clean India compaign will help but a lot more also needs to be done from easier Visa facilities to safer and smoother connects between airports and hotels etc

Managing constraints can help in achieving vision faster and with lesser efforts. Project lead time can be reduced to 70% and due date performance can be improved to 100% with ease. To learn more on this one can google TOC or theory of constraints. I have a twitter handle at @pradeep_toc with links to interesting knowledge on this. I will be happy to support any project or organisation serving public interest.

I suggest massive police reforms 1 Hire lot more police. Police to be whenever & wherever. Night, corners, daytime 2 Pay police more, so youth see it as attractive option 3 Modernize police force (equipment, dressing, vehicles, computers) & agency like 911 in US 4 Change in police mindset. Be nice, polite and professional, not rude. People not to avoid police. How it will help – 1 Improve safety of women & citizens, even 2 am in night 2 Improve India’s image, and boost tourism 3 Increase jobs

Dear PM, NRIs perhaps should participate more in FDI (First Develop India) slogan, in uplifting India, at large. There are a number of retired NRIs living outside India for many years. And a number of this group would be able to contribute in FDI, perhaps on voluntary basis. There is wealth of knowledge, experience and passion, which can be harnessed for FDI. One should come up with a model to tap these resources for the benefit of the FDI program. Any constructive comments are welcome.

Immediate idea would be: Arrange summer camps for NRI children to get them & their family connected. Like - adventurous trekking tours in Sanhyadri with glorious history of Shivaji maharaj, Yoga/Vipashana camp. These camps can be promoted through the Indian cultural organizations across world by advertising or even by sponsoring as a prize of any mega event in NRI activity. One another example of rural field experience camp can be found on https://www.facebook.com/JnanaPrabodhiniHaraliSummerCamp
