If we want to enhance Indian tourism, then we have to make it easy for tourist to travel in India. For example, a friend of mine was planning a trip to India & wanted to travel by train. But he can't book tickets on IRCTC as they don't accept international credit cards. How can a foreigner get his hands on an Indian bank's credit card? So only option left is to come to India, stand in the never ending train station queue to buy tickets with out a guarantee of getting a ticket on the required day

Language, art and culture live longer if more people use them. Why not tie these with tourism as “packages” or “camps”? Example: traditional arts like making of Paithani, Jaipur art, Rangoli, cooking a simple traditional dish etc. Westerners like to learn and do some activities even when they are vacationing. They can try their hand at a bit of Indian culture in day-long camps. Each state has SO MUCH to offer. There can be multiple level packages for those who want to learn more.

Overseas Indian want natural freedom and benefit like indian residents does in country .why we dont have rights to come back in our country anytime we want . Why we need to answer all questions about living in india . we are not indian after we accept foreign citizenship . We accept it for opportunities and progress not for life time .

As an Indian living overseas, our first port of call on all home related paperwork is the High Commission/Embassy. Unfortunately our High Commission offices are still stuck in the 1980s and are least customer friendly. Trying to talk to someone on the phone at the Indian High Commission in Wellington NZ is an impossibility, often one hangs onto the phone for 30 min to finally disconnect with no one answering. In this digital era, is it a big ask for IHCs to be customer friendly?

We need to make NRIs as brand ambassadors for tourism. Every brand ambassador should have information related to tourism in India. Create website with information of all tourist place, ask NRI to tag themselves to known locations and NRI should be able to contribute to add information which is required by foreigners. Also NRI can contribute to add facilities which are expected. Administrator can call for regular audio conference with tagged NRIs for suggestion/improvement.

Dual Citizenship : We lose a lot of brain power to the advanced nations. By not losing the Indian passport we ensure that these citizens feel more close to home and never lose their touch with India. Request Government of India to please permit Dual Citizenship like the UK, Canada etc

Respected Modi sir, Namaskar. You are really a great inspiration. For enhancing tourism I think we have to concentrate mainly on Rest Areas/Rooms for every 70kms in highways and in all tourism places even near temples. And recruiting people to keep it clean all the time. It is fine even using rest rooms is NOT free of cost. But cleanliness is more important. Because rest rooms are basic and important need for everyone and that will enhance tourism. Thank you for giving us an apportunity sir.

Dear Modi ji, namaskar! As a Non Resident Indian working outside and sending foreign exchange back to my country for the last 17 years, I have a humble request: Please consider increasing the value of gold exempt from taxes, when we travel to India. The current limits of Rs. 1 Lakh and Rs. 50,000 for women and men, respectively, is too low.

Dear Prime Minister, If you can pass an executive order for all schools to have the Indian flag and to have all school kids sing the national anthem and compulsory military training to all youths boys and girls you would be instigating patriotism and discipline in them.Thats how you can make Hindus , Muslims, Sikhs and Christians as true Indians.

Dear Prime Minister, I happen to see your interview on CNN-IBN with Mr.Fareed Zakaria where you were asked about the Muslims in India and you had replied that Muslims would die for the country. Why can't our country have no Hindus, no Muslims, no Sikhs, no Christians but just Indians. The graat nation of India should be our first religion. To make this happen we should give the top most importance to our National Anthem and our flag from grass root levels.
