Dear Narendra Guru - I selected NRI as I dont know the legal definition of NRI. I am an OCI Card Holder of India (Australian citizen). Done BTech/MTech, Management (mainly IT BHU, Varanasi). Heard you speech at Madison Square where you invited Indo-Americans to contribute back to India. I share the same vision, passion like you - you for India/Global and I much smaller. I am in a the next phase of life where I want to do something for my motherland. Please count me in in any capacity *

All of you my friend you know what is the main problem in our country,is that there are discussions on various topic but when the stage of implementation came it does not work.No one have the fear of breaking rules and I do not think even 30% of government employees do their duty seriously, because they know that there job is secure. No one can suspend them or coming to check them.I really love my country but unfortunately I can not do anything for it. Please make some strict rules.

A large no. of Indian citizens come to USA on temporary work visas and are made to contribute to the Social Security Scheme here. I strongly feel that Government of India should enter into a totalisation agreement with USA so that we get back all our money paid to the US Govt. Also such an agreement must give tax benefits to student workers like F1/F1Opt and H1B.

I want appeal Mr Modi and govt of India to make airport system easy and convinient NRIs and foreign tourist. I would appeal to the govt of India to start a helpline number for NRIs and foreign tourist for their immediate help and security since I am not aware if they have any now, when people come in India they have limited numbers of days and they do plan their trip but if they get stucked in legal problem their whole trip get spoiled last year I had to go through all these, viraj682@gmail.com

First of all I really thankful to Prime minister Mr Narendrabhai Modi, who truly understand the problems of NRIs, last year our whole family came to India just at the Mumbai airport We were treated rudely by the airport staff that was our first bad impression then and there, People who works at the airport just want to take out your money they asked in dollars and pounds just to carry yours luggage few steps, it was worse nightmare for me at Mumbai airport I have to pass 4 security checkouts

Dear Narendrabhai, thnx for this forum, even more so for putting thought into PIO & OCI schemes and your commitment to making it easier for us to stay in touch with India! While your teams work to make these more efficient, pl. consider enhancing the card so that it's acceptable to local Indian businesses\service providers as a valid Govt of India issued picture id. Last I visited, I couldn't even get a SIM card with it. So I didn't even try getting Net connectivity. This will be a HUGE help!

Single Window - It will take more than a lifetime to orient a common person about solving personal issues with the govt. agencies. Where I reside there is a system of Single Window to resolve any transaction with the Govt. This has to be introduced with immediate effect all across the country.

An Indian passport holder in US should be restrained of dissolving Hindu marriage in Foreign countries. My husband is on temporary visa and I accompany him on dependent visa. He deserted me and left me all alone from past 4-5 months, struggling for sustenance,he also tampered my passport during our short visit to India in Feb 2014, holding two passports. Now he sued me for divorce in US. Marriage registered in the court of India stands nowhere today. Why US law has right to break Hindu marriages.
