A capital city with 2500 years of heritage urban fabric is in process of projecting itself as a futuristic smart city of eastern India. With its strategic location as gateway to east and northeast India, the growing mega capital city Patna has a pool of young enthusiastic population which would support its new endeavour as a smart city. The Patna Municipal Corporation which was established in 1952, in accordance with The Patna Municipal Corporation Act, 1951, is keen on projecting heritage Patliputra towards a smart Patna. Patna is nominated in the 3rd list of smart cities along with other capital cities of India. The smart Patna would be a reality with efforts of its citizens as your efforts would play a key role in project development stage.

We are in process to finalize on Pan City Proposal and Area Based Planning for our city in order to proceed further.

We urge you to share your ideas, views and be an integral part of the journey towards making Patna a smart city!

Patna comes under the category of highly polluted area .so there is urgent need to check over its causes n aware people about it.planting of more n more no of trees is essential but it is also to plant such trees which is helpful in absorbing pollution n thus making our atmosphere clean.disposal of garbage needs a proper management which is the major cause of various health problems.so i think these things should also be accounted to make patna as a smart city

PATNA needs to be "SENSIBLE" rather "SMART" as far as my views are concerned.If Patna will become sensible then it will automatically become Smart. But question arises how? Sensible means to be Conscious about every step we take.We need to clear minds as dirt and waste are occupying this not the streets of Patna. Moreover there is a need to cooperate government and services not always to oppose and blame it. Thanks! #Patna

Patna is historical city which was known as patliputra in olden days.it was also capital city of morya denisty .there are so many historical worth visiting places here.moreover it is the birth place 10th guru gurgovind Singh . I think my city is very deserving city for becoming smart city

To make our patna smart following works are required to be done. 1.Door to door garbage collection n its disposal through solid waste management. 2.Proper drainage system. 3.Construction of urinals n toilets on all important places. 4.Clean n green wide roads. 5.24 hrs electric supply. 6.Proper traffic management. 7.world class airport n hotels. 8.construction of underpass n foot over bridges at all busy places. 9.Roadside plantation of trees. 10.Master plan. 11.metro rail.

In the current scenario I feel certain recommendation which needs to be inculcated in government's plan of smart city. 1.Law and Order- Digitalisation of FIR i .e online FIR. 2.Transport and communication - Development of metro as it would save time and solve the problem of traffic congestion.Proper street lightening and creation of dividors in the mid of roads. 3.Cleanliess and Sanitation-Creation of Parks,Road dividors with lights,Dustbins along the streets and their maintenance etc.

Patna is one of the histrocial place and it was capital at time of chandra gupt we develop contusouly from some year we want to spand time with develop manner like people of city like mumbi etc and as a well educated state no doute bihar is education hub and power house of labour of india we want to represent india by bihar and for this the people of bihar should live with good manner we should not distribut rubbish at road for this goverment should place dustbin after some distance
