A capital city with 2500 years of heritage urban fabric is in process of projecting itself as a futuristic smart city of eastern India. With its strategic location as gateway to east and northeast India, the growing mega capital city Patna has a pool of young enthusiastic population which would support its new endeavour as a smart city. The Patna Municipal Corporation which was established in 1952, in accordance with The Patna Municipal Corporation Act, 1951, is keen on projecting heritage Patliputra towards a smart Patna. Patna is nominated in the 3rd list of smart cities along with other capital cities of India. The smart Patna would be a reality with efforts of its citizens as your efforts would play a key role in project development stage.

We are in process to finalize on Pan City Proposal and Area Based Planning for our city in order to proceed further.

We urge you to share your ideas, views and be an integral part of the journey towards making Patna a smart city!

Ward no. 5 of Patna Nagar Nigam, Patna is an important area under various considerations . Priority should be given to develop ward no.5 under mission smart city Patna. The importance of ward no. 5 is described in the attached document with a short list of basic development work. Encl. the attachment file.

We can say that every state capital is real face of the State, on this ground, Patna is the face of Bihar.At present, the capital look like as unmanaged city & developing with own scenes & every one are working with own guidelines & rules. We as a citizen of patna, much pleased with government decision after announcement of smarty city list. The most important step towards a 'Smart Patna' would be 'Cleanliness at all place, Systemization of citizen charter & implication and 'Beautification.

#patna_smart_city_mission –sanjay kumar mishra /Nehru Nagar-Patna. All we knew that we have with a glorious history where we live know, this is one of the most oldest city in India who developed so many times in history, even destroyed & rehabilitated by nature & empires but it’s live with his dirtiness . We can say that every state capital is real face of the State, on this ground, Patna is the face of Bihar.At present, the capital look like as unmanaged city & developing with own scenes.

Smart city patna me har chize aadhunik honi chhahiye as example: 1.Sabhi Road 50 fit se kam nahi honi chahiye or Road ke dono side Bade tree lage or uske side me paidal chalne baalo ke liye road bane or wo Kam se kam 10 fit ka Road ho 2.Transporatation ke liye Metro and Mono Rail jaisi Vayavstha honi chahiye or sirf electric se chalne wali Tranosporation ko manjuri mile deasel or petrol ko band kiya jaye 3.Purani sankari kshetro area ko tor kar naye township develop / viksit kiya jaye
