Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Respected Sir, This is not the suggestion but the real situation which i am writing to you.The reason are as below:- 1. No better equipments as in other country. 2. No better sale of the products. 3. Third party involvement in each and every step. 4. Treated like not humans by every department. 5. No basic facility to family. 6. No future. Sir i always want to go back and do farming as this the main ingredient of our economy and if we want to be self sufficient we need change.

farming is less remunerative in India today than even unskilled manual labour for small and marginal farmers who make up 80% of our agriculturists. The data published by the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices in 2013, for example, shows that per hectare net earning from two harvests in India is less than Rs.50,000 per annum, on average, while two buffaloes yield about Rs.60,000 in a year and an unskilled laboring couple can earn upto Rs.50,000 per annum by working only for six months.

We are marginal farmers of Himachal Pradesh having around 5-10 Bigha land and small fields. Our lands can produce grains sufficient for many other people except our families. But the problem is that Govt. is providing grain under many schemes in fair price shops. Grain of about Rs. 100/- becomes sufficient for a family of 4-5 members for one month. Due to these policies, farmers are becoming lazy and keeping their land barren which is overall hampering the production in the country.

Use IT to simplify work of farmers and enhance farm output (quantity and quality both). Manage a farm using farm management software the way a telecom network is managed with capability to make decision of crops, execute decision, manage and control farms, optimize input/output and various activities, generate reports, collect and analyze data, market research. Make farming an attractive carrier option to attract young and educated towards farming. train farmers using mobile application.
