Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Agriculture is the backbone of Indian Economy as well as livelihood of 2/3rd people in India directly and for many more indirectly. Farming is not just the matter of production and consumption but it has huge business opportunities. There is a need of self sustained rural economy. If farmer earns money, he will save it because he believes in sustainability, acting as booster to Indian economy. No Import Only Export……No FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) only FDI (Fixed Deposit in India)

Respected PM sir A farmer is not busy farming 365 days a year and may join other work for additional income if properly trained and if opportunity is given to work conveniently in or near his village. May be Govt. can work out a scheme to help farmers and their family members to use spare time productively. Regards kkj

Honorable PM Sir, There is unique value of wheat, rice and other agro products by Govt. of India for all over India. But production cost is different state wise (i.e. In Rajasthan ground water is very low electricity is costly and soil is sandy) Please make farmers economically strong with help of technology, divert river water to needy area, minimum charge of electricity and interest free loan up to one year or seeds & fertilizer supply on interest free loan Best Regards Jagdish Jat Bassi JP
