Problems of farmers: wrong beliefs - The belief - farmers are poor and they have to work hard needs to be replaced with “Farmers are smart, rich and agriculture is high tech industry” by enabling end-to-end automation and management of farms using software, and high tech industries. We need to make farming sector attractive and profitable to attract and retain young generation in the sector and to bridge digital divide and reduce wastages. and this is ASAAN HAI. we can do it and we will do it.

I recently underwent an intensive agricultural training course on postharvest technology of perishable crops in Israel (Feb9-Mar4) sponsored by the Israel government. Some important lessons learnt - the success of Israel's agriculture is due to good synergy between Israeli scientists, extension workers, farmers and commercial companies which is very much lacking in India. Israeli agriculture is market driven, their farmer produce what the world market demands despite hostile weather conditions.

Problem of farmers: They are still using old ways of farming. We have 100 times more people involved in farming than US but producing less than US. We need to change the way farming is done in India, we need to use automation, software and technology in agriculture industry to make it productive, efficiency and environment friendly. The damage to the crops due to recent rains could have been reduced by at least 25% with technology and mechanization. our farmers should be open for new ideas ..

Respected PM sir, kisano ko time, money aur crop ki barbadi se bachane k liye khet me pigs and nilgay jese animals ki problem dur krne k liye ese animals ko pakadva ke forest me chhod dene chahiye jisse forest k animals ko easily food mil ske aur natural cycle balance me rahe.
esa krne se crop production jyada hoga aur animals food ki talash me villages tak naa ane paye..

Sustainable farming methods using both Technology, Biotechnology and modern agri extension practices is key. Lab to extension is key as PM was mentioning which is lacking in India.Uniform policy across India for all crops is required and each crop should be under a single mission and all bodies should correlate and integrate to maximise productivity. AU has the best practices in entire |Asia pacific and we should have exchanges with brazil, AU and US
